UPS Software


 
UPS Software is the universal set-up and control tool for all SANUPS products.  While some basic UPS functions can be accessed natively in Windows NT, 2000, and XP, the UPS Software provides greatly enhanced functionality and support for all Windows OSs, UNIX, and LINUX.

The UPS Software can communicate via a serial connection, dry contact interface, or via an optional LAN Interface card (web-based or SNMP).

 
UPS Software Features:
  • Realtime viewing and historical logging of power related events and values
  • Orderly computer shutdowns in case of power failures
  • Automatic start-up after power resumes (by sending "ring" signal to PC)
  • Scheduling of shut-downs, start-ups, and periodic reboots
  • Delay on/delay off - to power-up computers in order, or to extend the run time of selected devices

Schedule start-ups, shut-downs, and/or periodic reboots. Full control of daily and weekly (shown) timings.

Notify users of impending power-downs - wait for them to log-out (see the  "Waiting for Logout" box in the Control Timing screen above), or force the system to shutdown after some grace period.
